As part of the accompanying program of The New Women, a research project and exhibition curated by art historian Prof Dr. Ina Jessen at the HFBK Hamburg, showing more than 50 works by 14 selected female artists and designers who studied at the predecessor institution of the HFBK, from 1907 onwards. The New Me–Statements, curated by Anne Meerpohl invites current female students of the HFBK Hamburg to present their work and link themselves to the historical positions and generations of female artists updating the themes of the time.
